A Rising Tide?

This series of articles in the Washington Post are worth the pain of registration to read; the fourth one was published today. Taking a look at them helps the average person to understand how the American Dream has failed so many Americans, particularly in the last few decades. I'm not an advocate for communism, which I think encourages mediocrity in expression (though there are those that might argue that the socialistic atmosphere of the FDR years improved the overall civic pride and infrastructure of the US during the Great Depression). Something has to give in this pressure cooker, though, or sure as shooting, something is going to blow.
