35 years ago today, people were actively protesting our participation in the Vietnam conflict. Where is everybody now?
There are so many similarities between the early 70's, with the corrupt Republican administration, misguided war, gas crisis and political upheaval, and our current situation today. As the old saying goes, if you don't learn from history you are doomed to repeat it. We don't want to keep doing this over and over, do we? It's way past time we came out of our national coma and took control of our country again.
